Data we process

• Identification and contact data: name, email, phone number and shipping address.
• Order data: vehicle, products, colours, amount and purchase history.
• Payment data: handled directly by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
• Communications: messages you send us by email, form or WhatsApp.
• Browsing data: what is needed for the website to work (see the cookie policy).

Purposes and legal basis

• Managing your order, its manufacturing, delivery and any issues — performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Answering your enquiries — your consent and our legitimate interest in helping you (art. 6.1.a and 6.1.f GDPR).
• Meeting accounting and tax obligations — legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
• Sending marketing communications — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Retention

We keep data for as long as the business relationship lasts and afterwards for the applicable legal periods (for example, 6 years for accounting and tax records). Enquiries not linked to an order are deleted once no longer needed.

Recipients

We do not sell your data. We only share it with the providers needed to deliver our service:

• Stripe (payment processing).
• A partner manufacturer (manufacturing and shipping of products).
• Courier companies (order delivery).
• Vercel (web hosting), Resend (automatic emails), Cloudflare (DNS and email forwarding) and Google (Gmail, to receive and answer email).
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us that way.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to hola@contrastemats.com and stating the right you wish to exercise.

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the whole website.
